For independent builders and small studios

Make the task small enough to check.

Start with a bug, a page, or one part of a feature. Tell your assistant what should change and what must stay. Ask it to explain the changes and the checks it ran, then inspect the result before accepting it.

For a website, open the rendered page and try the main interaction. For code, inspect the changed files and run the relevant checks. Keep the acceptance criteria in the conversation when you ask for a revision.

The integrated preview, changes panels, and persistent project-decision workflow are planned. They are not in this preview. See product status.

01 · start where you are

Set up your first project.

  1. Install the desktop preview

    Download SaturnAI Desktop 1.2.4 for Windows x64. The installer is unsigned; Windows may show a publisher warning. The download details include the file size and SHA256 checksum.

  2. Connect a model in First Light

    The first-run setup offers DeepSeek API-key setup. For another provider, select Use another provider, finish the setup steps, then select Finish and open Models. You can return through Settings → Models: choose Edit or Add provider, enter your credentials, then Apply. Model charges are separate.

  3. Choose the project folder

    In the Workspace step, select Choose folder and wait for Workspace ready. Later, use Add workspace in the sidebar and start a session in that workspace. The optional Design brain and Connections steps can be skipped with Not now.

  4. Confirm a reply, then start small

    Send a short request before assigning a build. A configured key or a returned model list does not confirm a successful conversation. Once the model replies, give it one bounded task. Inspect changed files, run the relevant checks, and try the result before accepting it.

A first prompt to use with your project

Read this project and explain how it is organized and how its existing checks run. Do not change files yet. Then help me choose one small improvement, preserving the current stack and behavior.

Return to a project or troubleshoot setup

Reopen the workspace and its existing conversation from the sidebar. Keep accepted constraints and the next task in that conversation. Persistent project decisions across separate tasks are still planned.

If a model does not reply, check its provider and model in Settings → Models. For help, contact us with the app version, provider name, and a redacted error. Do not send API keys or private project files.

SaturnBot can evaluate state and delegate work on a schedule you configure, while the desktop host is running. Role-specific tools, approval controls, and recorded events keep that work inspectable.

Scheduling starts paused. It does not run while your computer is asleep or the host is stopped.

What is in preview 1.2.4.

The published Windows download is the current desktop preview.

  • Windows x64 installer for Saturn AI Desktop 1.2.4.
  • The desktop host runs on your computer. Requests go to the model provider you configure, using your credentials.
  • Remote access is in this build and stays off until you turn it on in Settings.
What this release does — and what it does not

This is a downloadable desktop preview. The complete browser-hosted workspace is not live yet. Background work requires the host to remain running. Model and integration credentials are configured separately — a connection marked configured does not confirm that its external provider has authenticated successfully. The free SaturnAI Design Tools remain a separate service at saturnai.tools/design.
